Seanchoíche x Irish Arts Centre
We are delighted to partner with Irish Arts Centre in NYC as part of Féile na Gaeilge / Irish Language Day 2026!
Seanchoíche—a storytelling night founded in Dublin—is a night for people from all corners, backgrounds, and identities to come together to listen and engage with stories told by volunteer speakers. These stories can range from personal anecdotes, to poetry pieces, to spoken word, fictional narratives, and anything in between. As part of Irish Language Day 2026, Seanchoíche is curating and hosting a evening of stories in the Irish language (they can also be told in English) on the theme of Abhaile or "Home.”

Tell your story! You, yes YOU, are invited to submit a story! All levels of Irish and bilingual stories will be considered. Just follow the prompts here and select “NYC” as your location. Stories must be submitted before March 8, 2026. Storytellers will be informed if their story has been selected for reading at the event.
