Founded in Dublin, Seanchoíche has grown into a global storytelling movement, bringing people together through the simple yet powerful act of sharing stories. Each event centres around a theme, creating an evening where strangers become friends and ordinary moments become unforgettable.

Seanchoíche is a storytelling night founded in Dublin, and is expanding across the world. It is a night for people from all corners, backgrounds, and identities to come together and listen and engage with stories told by volunteer speakers. These stories can range from personal anecdotes, to spoken word, fictional narratives, and anything in between as long as what is spoken constitutes a story.

Monroe’s Live will open its doors on Wednesday June 3rd to a night for people from all corners to come and listen and engage with spoken stories, ranging from personal anecdotes, prose, monologues, fictional narratives, and anything in between. Very excited to be coming back to Dublin May 30th for a special collaboration with the IFI as part of their upcoming season ‘This Mortal Coil’

The event will offer a communal, empathetic space in which people can come together to share their stories and experiences. The topic for the evening will be ‘Memories’. While the theme will hopefully provide a starting point to explore many of the subjects raised by the films in This Mortal Coil, it is of course open to the interpretation of the speaker.

Limerick, we are coming back, to kick off @riverfestlimerick ‘26 with an extremely special edition of Seanchoíche, with stories centred around the theme of ‘CARE’. The night will be entirely for charity, in memory of an incredible member of Limerick’s community, a much loved friend, brother, and son. 🤍🕊️

Ticket sales will be used to raise money for @shineonlineie , Ireland’s first mental health organisation to support people with lived experience of mental health and their family members / supporters.
